Formally opened in May 2011 and situated in the North-West riverside town of Gravesend. The Guru Nanak Darbar Gravesend Gurdwara is believed to be one of the largest Gurdwara’s in the UK.
The beautiful architecture, stonework and wood carvings make the Gurdwara a hugely popular place to the Sikh community. The Gurdwara is visited by thousands of people from all over the world.
The Guru Nanak Darbar Gravesend Gurudwara in addition to being a place of worship for thousands of Sikhs in Britain, also joins two lives together through the Sikh Anand Karaj – Wedding ceremony.
The Guru Nanak Darbar Gravesend Gurdwara houses three Diwan halls (3 weddings per day) and two Langar halls which can be used for your wedding and celebrations. With plenty of parking on-site you can accommodate plenty of your guests with much ease.
Our Service
The team here at Dream Days can organise everything for you in conjunction with the team members at Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara. Our close communication and relationship ensures that we are able to organise your wedding or blessing and ensure all your communicated requests are heard and your wedding day plans ahead as desired by you, provided they are permitted within sikh values and principles.
We also provide catering at the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara. We are preferred caterers due to our close proximity to the temple, our reputation and working relationship. If you wish to find out more here.
If you wish to continue your celebration of your wedding with friends and family after your ceremony, you can make use of the Legion Rooms which is a stone’s throw away from the Gravesend Gurdwara. For example, the Legion Rooms is one of our fully air-conditioned venue with LED room lighting capable of seating up to 280 guests. You can learn more about the Legion Rooms here.
Also the Gurdwara offers two lungar halls one up to 500 guest and the other up to 250 on round tables so you can serve your guests a full lunch at the same location and maybe have the party at one of our other venue s the next day.

- Priestfield Conference and Banqueting : 50 – 450
