Organisational Skills
I couldn't fault anything, it looked perfect and we managed to bring back things to schedule and waste no time in getting the party started. Most weddings have a delay of some sort, but only a few can bring it back to so the day can be enjoyed fully.
How did your function go?
PERFECT - couldn't have asked for a better venue and weather to make it more special than it already was.
Overall Experience with Dream Days
The overall experience was great, from start to finish, you were always at the end of a phone, the perfection on the day stood out a mile, and some of the credit has to go to you. The extra little touches were recognised and appreciated by the guests. It was something new to them, the basics were there but the finishing touches were the icing on the cake.
Comments on Cobham hall
It was breathtaking the first time I came to view it and it was breathtaking on my wedding too. the time and effort put in by all the team was great. It was nice to know that I didn't have to worry about whether it was going to look ok or not, i knew it was. Darminder’s professionalism on the day was noticed by all on the day and when I met him at the viewing he had organised.
Food
I bumped into my masi yesterday and she told me how my cousin never has a full 3 course meal at any wedding, but at ours, he had every single piece that was offered to him. People were asking for more! Good to hear. Food was mouth-watering, and the way it was served was so different. The funky china bowls - wow, looked great!
Guest\Family comments
The best wedding they have ever been too, and trust me, they have been to a lot. People in my family are the hardest to please, and I can put my hand on my heart and say that they were pleased.
Was it worth while hiring an Event Manager? How did it help?
Definitely worth having an event manager, everything is done according to the itinerary. because a lot of meetings and discussions take place, there is always a plan B and Darminder knew what that was. Had there not been an events manager, I honestly feel that the day would not have gone so well. The pressure was off the family and they were able to enjoy the day themselves without a worry in the world as they knew you would take care of everything. People would ask me "are you nervous?" my answer was "no, I’ve got the best team on the day". It was both our reputations on the line if the day did not go well and that made me realise that you would give it 100%.
